Insulation Applications

Crawl Spaces
Energy Tech also insulates crawl spaces using either a rigid foam or a two part foam on the side walls. We will then install an insulated blanket on the floor which prevents cold air from infiltrating up from the ground.

Air Sealing
The rim joists located about the basement walls also is a potential location for air infiltration. The cold or warm air can penetrate the home and move up through the floor. Energy Tech will seal each rim joist and any protruding pipes to provide a comfortable living area.
